What is CHINASSL2010?
As one of the largest and leading trade events in China, CHINASSL2010 covers the innovated LED manufacturing equipments, materials, technologies and products. The event will discuss how to utilize new opportunities to facilitate the industrial development from aspects of technology, patent, standards, policy, market, capital, design and industrial alliance. Who will attend the conference?
Usually our attendees consist of manufacturers, franchisers, purchasers, education and research institute, investment and consulting enterprises from SSL related industries at home and abroad. And leaders, experts and corporate elites from associations, academies and governments are also our participants. Is CHINASSL2009 an international conference?
1097 professional persons from 16 countries/regions, which included America, Germany, Japan, Korea, UK, France, Taiwan China, Hong Kong China, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Singapore, Venezuela, and Israel, attended CHINASSL2009. How to register?
1. What is the procedure of registration?
1) Register online (recommended), through E-mail (recommended) or fax.
2) Make payment
3) The organizing committee will send you a confirmation letter when receive the registration fee.
2. What channels can be used for registration?
1) Online registration (recommended)-visit relative webpage and finish the registration.    Online Registration

3) Phone call-registration by phone call is also accepted. Please contact +86-10-51727119/51727115
4) On-site registration-you could take on-site registration if your decision for participation comes later than September 30th 2010.However, in consideration of guarantee of your rights and convenience of our work, we highly recommend that you register before September 30th 2010.
Note: People who take on-site registration will not have any preference. Register now to get the opportunity to attend the Plenary on the morning of Oct.15 for free!
 
3. What are the key dates and venues of the conference?

Deadline for paper submission: August 31th
Deadline for conference registration: September 30th

Conference venue: conference rooms on the 5th/6th floor of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (there is an escalator between the 5th and the 6th floor, so we recommend you go directly to the 5th floor first.)

Registration venue 1(for general attendees): middle hall on 5th floor of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (please follow the on-site directions)

Registration venue 2(for special guests): lobby of Asta Hotels & Resorts, Shenzhen (No.28, Fumin Road, Futian District Shenzhen, China)

Note: Real-name registration applied for this conference, so please bring name card with you to save your time on registration.
 
Meal venue: Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Center (please see the instructions on the meal tickets.)
 
4. What tickets do we need for the conference?
1) Conference ticket: Attendees should wear conference badge (which is the pass for attending conference.).People without badge will not be allowed to enter the conference room. (For information collection and better service, we will apply bar code scanning system at the entrance of the conference rooms.)
2) Conference meal ticket: We will provide attendees with lunches and dinners (from Oct.14th to 16 th).Attendees will get meal tickets when register. Please show the tickets to service people when having your meal.
 
5. How can I know if I have registered successfully?
After you register and make payments (We recommend you send us the remittance receipt by fax.), we will contact you by phone call or e-mail to confirm your information, after that you will get from us a confirmation letter, which you should bring with you for registration on site. If you don't receive any confirmation from us a week later, please call us directly.
 
6. What should I do if the web page goes abnormal when I register?
If the web page goes abnormal when you register, please confirm whether you have followed the right steps of registration and try to refresh the page to register again or seek secure internet access to log on to our website again. If it stays abnormal, please contact us by phone.
About payment
1. What payment terms can I choose?
If you register before September 30th, you can pay the fee by bank transfer, cheque or cash.
For on-site registration, both cash and credit card are accepted.

2. Are there discounts for registration fee?
1) 10% discount for registration before August 31st 2010
2) Register before Sep.30, 2010 can attend the Plenary on the morning of Sep.15, 2010 for free.
3) As usual, members of China Solid State Lighting Alliance get preference
4) 50% discount for students' registration (relevant certificates required)
5) Students who submit paper and included in the proceedings could attend CHINASSL2010 for free.
6) More than10 people attending conference together will be regarded as a group and get preference
Note: People who take on-site registration will not get any preference.
 
3. Can I receive invoice after I make payment?
If you register before September 30th 2010, we will send you the invoice by post after we check your payment. The arrival time varies due to the distance between our cities. If you register on site, we will print the invoice by machine, which will definitely prolong the time you spend on registration, so registration in advance is our recommendation.
 
4. How can I get a refund?
If you can't make presence for some reason after payment, you can demand a refund before September 30th, 2010,  but we will take away 20% of the total payment as our service fee. Please note you can't demand a refund after September 30th ,2010.
Note: If you can't make presence for some urgency, it is ok that another person takes your place to attend the conference. (Please inform us in advance so that we can amend the registration information.) ,or you can make your registration fee the deposit for our other events.
What rights and benefits can attendees get?
1. Conference through ticket (3 days pass)
Access to all conference rooms. Lunch, dinner, refreshments, interpretation, conference materials (compact disk included), material package, and attendee list are all available during the whole event.

2. Half-day ticket
Access to the conference rooms on that half day. Lunch/dinner & refreshments during the forum, interpretation, conference materials, material package, and attendee list are all available.
How do we deal with accommodation and transportation during the event?
The organizing committee provides 4 contracted hotels to meet attendees' different demands. Attendees should contact the hotels they favor by themselves and cover the cost. Please state CHINASSL2010 to the hotel to get preferential price.     Information about contracted hotels
 
From October 14th to 16th the organizing committee will arrange shuttle buses between each contracted hotel and Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Your badge is your bus ticket. In order not to miss the bus, please reach the specified place 10 minutes earlier.    Information about the transportation

2. How can I get sponsorship opportunities?

3.Conference languages
CHINASSL2010 contains 2 Plenaries, 8 Technical Session and 8 Thematic Sessions. In which:
2010 PV&LED Technology and Cooperation Seminar, Summit on Policies and Industrial Development, and Summit on Co-competition and Corporate Strategy will be conducted in Chinese.
For 2010 International Short Course on MOCVD Technology, we will provide Chinese-English consecutive interpretation.
For all the rest conferences, we will provide Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation and earphone.
 
4. Earphone claim
During the event, attendees can claim the earphone for receiving interpretation with relative identification. Please keep the earphone properly and return it on time.
 
5. Poster Presentation
Stick a poster: Poster Presentation will be arranged on the 5th floor of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
Please bring and stick your poster up on September 13th afternoon or September 14th morning. The organizing committee will set up service platform on site.
During the event, for the convenience of the authors to make and stick the POSTER, we provide local poster-making company's information and the author can contact with them (at author's expense).

6. Are there requirements on clothes for conference attending?
Formal dressing is recommended for all forum guests.
