1959年10月毕业于北京大学物理系,1959年12月至1963年1月在北京大学物理系攻读研究生,毕业后留校任教至今。

陈良惠
1963年毕业于复旦大学,同年到中国科学院半导体所工作至今。  
他是我国半导体量子阱光电子器件领域的开拓者之一,在国内率先实现量子阱激光器的突破,并开拓不同波长,不同功率,不同应用目标的量子阱激光器和其他光电子器件的的研制、开发与工程化。为我国光电子器件进入量子阱光电子的新台阶作出贡献。他主持并出色完成中科院重大项目,国家攻关、863、自然科学基金等多项国家任务,获中国科学院科技进步奖一等奖三项,国家科技进步奖二等奖两项,国家科技进步奖三等奖两项。他任主任主持筹建光电子器件国家工程研究中心,通过国家验收成为我国国家级光电子器件的研究、开发和工程化产业化基地。近年来,他坚持在科研第一线,组织并亲自投身纳米光电子技术研究,使实验室在大功率半导体激光器、近场微小孔激光器、光子晶体激光器、GaN基蓝紫光激光器以及量子阱和量子点红外探测器等领域都有新的突破并取得成果。
他曾任中国科学院半导体研究所副所长,863计划光电子主题专家组副组长,中国工程院信息电子工程学部副主任。1999年遴选为中国工程院院士。现任中国科学院半导体研究所研究员、博士生导师、纳米光电子实验室主任,光电子器件国家工程研究中心名誉主任、首席科学家,中国电子学会光电器件专业委员会主任,中国通信学会光通信专业委员会副主任。

王占国
半导体材料和材料物理学家,中国科学院院士,中国科学院半导体所研究员。现任中国电子协会半导体和集成技术分会主任,中国材料研究学会副理事长和多个国际会议顾问委员会委员。长期从事半导体材料和材料物理研究,在人造卫星用硅太阳电池辐照效应和电子材料、器件和组件的静态、动态和核瞬态辐照实验结果,为我国的两弹一星事业发展做出了贡献。在深能级物理和光谱物理研究方面取得了多项国际先进水平的成果。近年来,他领导的实验组又在应变自组装半导体量子点、量子线和量子点、量子线超晶格材料生长和大功率量子点激光器研制方面获得重要进展。上述研究成果曾获国家、中科院自然科学和科技进步奖,何梁何利科技进步奖和国家重点科技攻关奖多项。

李晋闽
博士,研究员,博士生导师,于1982年在西安交通大学获得电子工程系半导体物理与器件专业工学学士学位,于1984年在信息产业部电子第十三研究所获得半导体材料与器件物理专业工学硕士学位,于1991年在中科院西安光学精密机械研究所获得光学专业理学博士学位。1991~1993年,在半导体研究所作博士后研究工作,从事GaAs材料的生长及器件研究,在III-V GaAs红外量子阱探测器方面做出了较有影响的研究工作;1993~1995年,在半导体研究所从事新型半导体材料的研究工作;1995~2002年,任半导体研究所材料中心主任,所长助理,所学术委员会委员,从事新型半导体材料研究工作,主持并完成了国家“九五”重大科技攻关项目“北方微电子基地”的“国家新型半导体材料研究基地”建设以及“新型半导体材料”项目,包括亚微米、深亚微米CMOS电路用薄层外延Si材料项目;双异质SOI材料项目;高温MESFET用GaN外延材料;高温功率器件用MBE SiC材料;1999年10月~2002年1月,访美学者。1999年~2002年,半导体研究所创新工程重大项目“半导体功能材料”负责人。2002年~2004年10月,任中科院半导体研究所,常务副所长、研究员。在科研、科研管理的同时,积极探索科研成果转化为生产力的途径,积极寻求社会资本,参与组建了北京中科镓英半导体有限责任公司,致力于化合物半导体单晶材料和外延材料的开发生产。2004年10月至今,任中科院半导体研究所所长、研究员。

范玉钵

1965年8月获得哈尔滨军事工程学院无线电通讯专业学士学位,现为高级经济师。
范玉钵先生现为厦门华联电子有限公司总经理,他领导的厦门华联电子有限公司于2004年获信息产业部电子工业质量管理小组活动先进单位称号、2002、2003连续两年荣获福建省用户满意企业称号,2003年获全国用户满意企业称号。
范玉钵先生熟悉国内外电子行业发展趋势,长于企业经营管理。
范玉钵先生现出任全国光协光电子行业协会理事长、国家半导体照明工程研发与产业联盟主席等职务。

Biing-Jye Lee

Dr. Biing-Jye Lee is the president of Epistar Corporation, a world leading high brightness LED epiwafer and chip manufacturer, based in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He obtained a BS and a Ph. D degree in chemical engineering from National Tsing-Hua University in 1980 and 1985 respectively. Dr. Lee began his professional-career as a research scientist and a project leader at Industrial Technology Research Institute, where he and his co-workers have successfully developed the first 780 nm AlGaAs laser diode in Taiwan. From 1992 to 1994, he became the research manager of Optoelectronic modules department. Under his guidance, his group has successfully demonstrated the first AlGaInP based LD and LED in Taiwan. From 1994 to 1996, he was the director of Optoelectronic materials and device devision, responsible for the initiation of AlGaInP, InGaN and AlGaAs epiwafer production program. September 1996, he and his colleague founded Epistar Corporation.
Dr. Lee has authored and co-authored over 40 technical publications. He also received more than 25 patents with 18 pending. He has been awarded by the Ministry of Economic Affair for his contribution in the area of optoelectronic devices.

E. Fred Schubert
E. Fred Schubert (Ph. D. 1986) is the Wellfleet Senior Constellation Professor of the Future Chip Constellation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has made pioneering contributions to the field of compound semiconductors in particular to alloy broadening, delta-doping, resonant-cavity light-emitting diodes, enhanced spontaneous emission in Er-doped Si/SiO2 microcavities, photonics crystals, elimination of heterojunction band discontinuities, p-type superlattice doping in AlGaN, polarization-enhanced ohmic contacts, and omnidirectional reflectors. He is co-inventor of 28 US patents and co-authored more than 250 publications. He authored Doping in III–V Semiconductors (1992), Delta Doping of Semiconductors (1996), and Light-Emitting Diodes (2006). He is a Fellow of the APS, IEEE, OSA, and SPIE and has received several awards.

Alfred Felder

Dr Alfred Felder is the VP Sales and Marketing in Asia of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Prior to that he was the General Manager of the business unit OLED of OSRAM Opto in San Jose, California. He has over 15 years semiconductor experience in various positions from R&D to Product Development and Marketing at Siemens and Infineon Technologies.

Asif Khan

Asif Khan received his Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, in 1979. From 1979-1985 he worked at Honeywell Corporate Research Center as a senior principal research scientist. He then joined 3M as a Technical Marketing Manager in the Optical Disc Development project where he worked from 1985-1987. In 1987 he moved to APA Optics to serve as the Vice President of Optoelectronics Products. There his research group did pioneering work in the development of GaN-AlGaN materials and electronic devices. In 1997 he accepted a position at the University of South Carolina as a Distinguished Professor and became the Founding Director of the USC Photonics and Microelectronics Lab. His USC research focus is on the fabrication of GaN-AlGaN based high power microwave transistors and deep ultraviolet light emitters. His cutting-edge LED research was recognized by DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and the Japan Applied Physics Society as one of the best for 2005. In 2001 he was appointed Chair of the Electrical Engineering Department where in 2003 he was awarded the Carolina Distinguished Professorship. He was honored with the presenting of the IEEE Fellow award in 2006. He has authored over 300 refereed papers, several book chapters, over 150 invited papers, and over 200 presentations.

George Craford

Dr. George Craford obtained a Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Illinois in 1967. He began his professional career as a research physicist at Monsanto Chemical Company, and became Technical Director of the Electronics Division, before joining the Hewlett Packard Company in 1979. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Philips LumiLeds Lighting Company. His research has been mainly focused on the development of visible LED’s using a variety of compound semiconductor materials. He developed nitrogen-doped GaAsP technology in the early 1970’s, which became one of the dominant commercial LED technologies. At Hewlett Packard, Dr. Craford’s group pioneered the development of AlInGaP LED’s, and also developed AlGaAs and InGaN products. He is a fellow of the IEEE and a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He has received technical achievement awards from a variety of organizations and received the 2002 National Medal of Technology from the President of the United States.

Nadarajah Narendran

Nadarajah Narendran, Ph.D., is an associate professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the LRC's director of research. Dr. Narendran is well known throughout the lighting industry for his pioneering research and educational activities in the field of solid-state lighting. Dr. Narendran leads a team of researchers and educators in the area of solid-state lighting at the LRC and conducts research and educational programs to accelerate the development and market transformation of this promising technology. He teaches the Physics of Light course in the LRC’s graduate education program. In addition, he has developed and taught courses in optics, LEDs, and fiber optic lighting. Dr. Narendran has authored or co-authored more than 50 articles in archival journals and proceedings and holds several patents. He is a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.

Christopher M. James
As Vice President - Marketing, Chris is responsible for the development of corporate brand and business strategies, as well as for execution of those strategies through proactive outbound marketing, business development, and customer service activities at the corporate level. He joined Cree in December 2004 as Marketing and Sales Manager for Cree Lighting.
Prior to joining Cree, Chris served as vice president of Research Memberships and Publishing at the benchmarking firm Best Practices. Chris has also been vice president of marketing and business development for three high-tech start-ups, led Ernst & Young's High-Growth Consulting Supply Chain Practice, and held a number of management positions with the Components Group at Hewlett-Packard Company.
Chris holds undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering and German studies, and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.

Hans Nikol

Hans Nikol studied chemistry in Regensburg, Germany and finished his Ph.D. in 1993. The following two years he spent as a postdoc at the California Institute of Technology. In 1995, he joined Philips Research and worked on luminescent materials for display and lighting applications, including LEDs and OLEDs. After several positions in Research, he joined Philips Lighting in 2004 to work on the development of solid state lighting applications. In his current position as innovation manager of the BU Solid State Lighting, he is responsible for SSL product development as well as long-term R&D within the division.

Ian Ferguson
Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and Coordinator for the Focused Research Center Next Generation Lighting. Research focuses on the area of wide band-gap materials and devices (emitters, detectors and electronics) using GaN and ZnO and developing these materials for illumination and spintronic applications. I have over 160 refereed publications, four book chapters, two books and multiple patents. Founded the International Conference on Solid State Lighting.

 

Robert V. Steele

Robert V. Steele is the Director of Optoelectronics Programs at Strategies Unlimited, and is responsible for all of Strategies Unlimited’s activities in the area of optoelectronic components, for which the company has provided market research reports and consulting services for over 18 years.  Strategies Unlimited is a 28-year old market research firm specializing in optoelectronic and electronic components based on compound semiconductors.
 
Dr. Steele has authored or co-authored over 40 multiclient and single client reports on optoelectronics markets, technology and competition.  Since 1994, he has supervised and co-authored seven editions of Strategies Unlimited’s periodic report on the visible LED market, as well as reports on solid-state lighting, gallium nitride technology and markets, and the supply side of the high-brightness LED industry.  For the past eight years, he has also been the chair of Strategies Unlimited’s annual industry conference on high-brightness LEDs, known as Strategies in Light.  Dr. Steele writes regularly for industry publications on high-brightness LED markets and applications, and gives invited presentations at major conferences around the world.  As an internationally recognized expert in this subject, he has been interviewed and quoted by major publications, including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Financial Times, and The Economist, among others.
 
Dr. Steele received his B.S. in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley.

Tsunemasa Taguchi

Tsunemasa Taguchi received his Ph. D in electrical engineering from Osaka University, Japan in 1974. After becoming a senior lecture at his alma mater, he went to Britain, where he spent 1981 and 1982 as a visiting research scientist at the physics division of Sussex University, Brighton, England. He became a full professor in the department of electrical and electronic engineering at Yamaguchi University, Japan in 1994. He was a project leader of MTEI/NEDO’s “The Light for the 21st Century” project from 1998 to 2003, and is currently a project leader of MEXT’s “White LED to medical application” project. He has concentrated on research into wide-gap semiconductor materials such as ZnS and GaN, seeking new applications in the form of short-wavelength light emitting devices and white LED lighting systems.

Young Moon Yu
Dr. Yu received both MS and Ph.D degrees in material Science and engineering from Korea University and then was a visiting professor of Institute of Material Research at Tohoku University at 1995. From 1984 to 2001, Dr. Yu has been working in the field of bulk crystal growth at Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology. Since 2001, Dr. Yu has been the Chief Manager of Optoelectronic devices group and now he is the Director of Division for LED and Solid State Lighting R&BD of Korea Photonics Technology Institute. Also he is in duty of Program Organizer of Korean National Programs for LED & Semiconductor Lighting. He is responsible to develop the technology level of Korean LED and Solid State Lighting Societies under the cooperation of Universities, Institutes and companies.

吴 玲

吴玲,女,1982年毕业于哈尔滨医科大学,留校任教;1992年留学加拿大攻读工商管理专业并获硕士学位;1995任美国宏桥信托投资集团董事及驻华首席代表、“中国技术与投资网”CEO。2003年任北京麦肯桥资讯有限公司总经理及国家新材料行业生产力促进中心主任,负责国家“十五”科技攻关计划半导体照明产业化技术开发重大项目;现任国家半导体照明工程协调领导小组办公室副主任;国家半导体照明工程研发及产业联盟秘书长。
参与完成的项目还有:国家中长期科技发展规划第七专题组负责“中国咨询服务业发展科技问题研究”、“中国材料领域中长期科技发展战略研究”、“中国半导体照明产业发展战略研究”、“中国西部材料产业发展战略研究”、“东北材料产业科技支撑战略研究”、“中国循环经济发展――材料产业发展篇”等项目。
大会副秘书长

阮 军
阮军(男),1973年12月生。1996年毕业于合肥工业大学粉末冶金专业,2003年获清华大学经管学院工商管理硕士学位。现任北京新材料科技促进中心副主任。2003年10月起任国家半导体照明工程攻关项目管理办公室副主任,兼任国家半导体照明工程研发及产业联盟副秘书长。主要从事半导体照明领域的科研项目管理、战略研究、标准制定、联盟建设等工作。参与“十一五”863计划新材料领域“半导体照明工程”重大项目的可行性研究、立项论证、指南编制,以及项目的组织和实施等工作。

郭延生

郭延生(男)中共党员,1960年12月出生,1982年毕业于华东化工学院化工机械系,2006年获得华东理工大学、堪培拉大学MBA硕士学位。先后历任:上海吴泾化工厂机械动力科科员、副科长、党支部书记、科长;上海市经济委员会技术改造处副主任科员、主任科员;上海南汇县政府挂职县长助理;上海市经济委员会高新技术产业办公室副主任、技术进步处副处长;上海市科学技术委员会高新技术产业化处副处长;上海半导体照明工程技术研究中心主任。
近来在半导体照明产业方面的主要工作业绩:
于05年组建上海半导体照明工程技术研究中心;组织编制了《上海市“十一五”半导体照明产业发展规划》;组织上海市05、06年科委半导体照明重大科技攻关专项,主要突出国家半导体照明工程上海产业化基地走产品、技术高端路线特色,实现半导体照明产业化技术的提升和半导体照明关键共性技术的突破,形成自主知识产权,提升上海LED照明生产链能级,推进上海半导体照明工程技术的积累和发展;组织上海相关单位积极申请国家863半导体照明重大项目,06年上海基地内相关企事业单位提交了20个科研项目的申请,十个科研项目分别多个领域得到了科技部批准;对接国家半导体照明平台建设战略,承担 863“半导体照明公共检测与评估系统集成”项目,开展上海半导体照明公共研发和服务平台建设工作;以上海产业化基地和上海半导体照明工程技术研究中心为依托,以市场为导向,建立一个区域性、网络式应用系统设计、分析检测、产品评价,信息交流与人才培训等功能的半导体照明公共研发和服务平台。

梁秉文
1993年获美国UCSD电子工程系博士学位后在美国HP/Agilent公司工作,97年起任研发部经理,从事半导体光电材料生长和器件设计制作及项目和技术管理,是HP公司超高亮度LED产业化创始人之一。于2000年起任AXT光电公司总裁,领导开发、生产超高亮度LED和LD等产品。2003年回国创业。先后发表各种学术论文50余篇,持有美国专利6项,中国专利11项。多次担任国际会议主席和国家重大项目评审专家。梁博士在半导体发光材料生长和器件设计制作上造诣深、具有多年的高科技企业管理经验,并在美国具有成功创办新兴企业的经历。2004年作为国家半导体照明产业技术发展战略研究专家组组长,参与制订国家半导体照明产业中长期技术发展规划。
分会主席

张国义

张国义,理学博士,北京大学物理学院教授,博士生导师,北京大学宽禁带半导体联合研究中心主任,中国物理学会发光分会理事;中国电子学会办半导体与集成技术分会委员会委员;《半导体学报》,《发光学报》,《液晶和显示》编委.长期从事半导体物理与器件物理,半导体光电子学,MOCVD生长技术的研究。自1993年至今,一直从事III-V氮化物宽禁带半导体材料的制备、器件的研制和物理性能的研究。申请国家发明专利20多项,发表论文100多篇。作为会议主席,在1998年和2001年两次在中国主持召开了国际III-V氮化物半导体专题研讨会,多次作为(氮化物半导体相关的)重大国际会议委员会委员,参加国际学术交流。作为第一发明人,曾获得国家发明四等奖,国家教委科技进步二等奖等奖励。先后在美国,日本,澳大利亚,比利时开展合作研究。“九五”期间,作为国家“863”计划信息光电子主题专家组成员,“十五”期间,作为国家半导体照明工程专家组成员,中国LED行业协会顾问专家,国家半导体照明工程研发及产业联盟理事,努力为我国的LED照明光源的革命做出贡献。

Kei May Lau
Professor Kei May Lau received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 1976 and 1977 respectively, and the Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, Houston, Texas, in 1981.
From 1980 to 1982, she was a Senior Engineer at M/A-COM Gallium Arsenide Products, Inc. In the fall of 1982, she joined the faculty of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, where she became a full professor in 1993. She initiated metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), compound semiconductor materials and devices programs at UMass. In the summer of 2000, she joined the faculty of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and established the Photonics Technology Center for R&D efforts in wide-gap semiconductor materials and devices. She is now a Chair Professor of Electronic and Computer Engineering at HKUST.
Professor Lau is an IEEE Fellow. She served on the IEEE Electron Devices Society Administrative Committee and was an editor of the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices (1996-2002).

Densen Cao

Densen Cao, PhD. President & CEO of the CAO Group, Inc. USA. Received his PhD and ME at University of Utah in 1991 and BS & MS degrees at Jilin University, China in 1983. Founded the CAO Group, Inc. in year 1997. Owning more than 70 US patents. The CAO Group, Inc. engages in business of medical, dental, forensic, opto components, signage, and solid state lighting.

Robert Walker

Dr. Robert Walker joined BridgeLux as CEO in July, 2005, and has served on its Board of Directors since August, 2004. He is also a Principal at YEBY Associates, a Silicon Valley-based consultancy specializing in the Solid State Lighting Industry. From 2001-2004 he served as Managing Director-US of Vincera Ventures, a US$150M venture capital fund based in Taiwan with several investments in the areas of HB LEDs and compound semiconductors. During his 8 years at EMCORE Corporation, a leading provider of MOCVD equipment to the HB LED industry, he held a variety of sales and marketing positions, including General Manager, Pacific Rim. Prior to joining the compound semiconductor industry, Dr. Walker spent 10 years conducting high energy physics research, including several years living in Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Caltech in 1989 and a triple major in math, physics and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1984. He has traveled extensively throughout the Pacific Rim region, and has been involved with the HB LED epitaxial industry in Taiwan, Korea and China since its inception.

Enboa Wu
As Vice President of ASTRI, Dr. Enboa Wu is responsible for technology development for LED, device materials, advanced packaging, fiber optical transceivers, and optical sensors.
Dr. Wu has successful track records in building and leading large research teams to deliver to the industry with state-of-the-art technologies. In his post as the Deputy General Director of ERSO/ITRI, Taiwan, he was the founder of the Advanced Packaging Technology Center and managed the Flat Panel Display Technology Center. Leading these two largest technical teams in Taiwan, Dr. Wu had successfully helped build up Taiwan's now world No. 1 electronic packaging industry and TFT-LCD industry.
Dr. Wu is an ASME Fellow. He received his PhD degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Wu had been a full professor at the National Taiwan University for 10 years. He published over 130 journal and conference papers, co-authored three books, and issued 12 patents.

李 刚

李刚,男,1962年10月生,博士。方大集团股份有限公司半导体事业部总经理,深圳市方大国科光电技术有限公司总经理。主要研究领域:氮化镓基半导体材料外延生长与发光二极管芯片制造和封装技术。

唐国庆

唐国庆,中共党员,1956年2月4日出生于上海。先后历任:上海合金厂车间主任、团委书记、党支部书记;上海自动化仪表四厂党总支书记、副厂长;上海仪表电讯工业局团委书记;上海半导体器件公司副总经理;上海惠亚电镀科技有限公司(沪港台资)董事长(兼);上海无线电十厂厂长(兼);上海金桥(集团)公司招商部经理;国家“909”工程金桥(集团)公司首席代表;三井高科技(上海)公司(日本独资)总经理特别助理兼管理部长和营业部长;上海金桥大晨光电科技有限公司董事总经理。在三井高科技(上海)公司任职期间曾被派往日本三井高科技公司任研修生。上海市劳动模范、上海仪表局十佳党委书记之一、上海市新长征突击手等荣誉称号获得者。现任上海市光电子行业协会社团法人代表兼秘书长;(华刚国际)惠州华刚光电零件有限公司中国市场拓展总经理;三井高科技(上海)公司顾问(连任)。曾参与编辑出版《企业文化研究》(于光远主编,编委之一)、《半导体照明知识百题问答》等著作。现被聘任为山西省新材料研究中心研究员、上海市信息化委员会专家组成员等研究职务。

Mr. Frank Ma received his B.S. degree of physics from Tamkang University in Taipei, Taiwan and MS degree in Physics from Utah State University, USA.
Mr. Frank Ma is CEO of Photonics Industry & Technology Development Association (PIDA) based in the center of Taipei city. He has been working for PIDA since 2001 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2007, a role after vice president. Prior to joining PIDA, Mr. Ma served in the high tech industry from 1992 to 2001. Before that, Mr. Ma worked for National Science Council as an optoelectronics industry researcher.
Mr. Frank Ma has very extensive experience on strategic planning and corporate management. He is very knowledgeable both on photonics market trend and technology development.

孙 卓

孙卓博士,1967出生。华东师范大学终身教授及新加坡南洋理工大学客座教授、教育部“跨世纪”优秀人才基金及上海市“浦江”人才计划资助获得者,“紫江”学者特聘教授,博士生导师。目前担任纳光电集成与先进装备教育部工程研究中心主任,兼任了上海市半导体照明工程技术研究中心副主任和上海市光电子协会半导体照明(LED)专业委员会主任。是多家高科技公司(美国Nanocs, 上海纳晶科技,上海芯光科技等)的创始人之一。长期从事纳米薄膜材料与器件及装备系统的研究和产业化应用。主持了新加坡和中国上海市纳米光电子及先进装备等方向的十多项重点攻关项目,成果转化已达数千万美元。1989年毕业于兰州大学物理系半导体器件专业,1995年获博士学位,随后为上海交通大学博士后,及新加坡南洋理工大学微电子系博士后及研究员(1996-2003)。作为执行主席在中国首次成功举办了国际信息显示学会(SID)的“Asia Display’07”大型国际会议,并获得SID2007年度"Presidential Citation(主席奖)";目前为国际电气电子工程学会IEEE主办的“Nanoelectronics2008 纳米电子学”国际会议的执行主席。近年来在纳米光电材料与器件如LED/FED等的研究和应用方面取得突破,荣获2006年上海市科教党委系统首届青年科技创新人才奖和上海市“十大IT新锐”等多个荣誉称号。在国内外已申请了30多项发明专利。在国际学术刊物及会议上共发表论文180余篇,其中SCI收录100余篇,EI收录50余篇,被引用400余次。

王 钢

王钢,男,1968年11月出生。2001年4月毕业于日本国立名古屋工业大学,取得工学博士学位。2001年4月至2004年4月,就职于日本富士通量子器件公司,主要从事应用于10Gp/s,40Gp/s超高速光通信系统的InP基光电二极管芯片与探测器模块的研究开发工作。2004年5月至今,作为中山大学“百人计划”引进人才,受聘于中山大学,主要从事GaN基化合物半导体材料生长及相关光电子器件制备方面的研究工作。现为中山大学物理科学与工程技术学院教授、博士生导师,中山大学半导体照明系统研究中心主任,光电材料与技术国家重点实验室主任助理,科技部“863”半导体照明工程重大项目总体专家组成员。

刘木清

刘木清教授2004年5月至今任复旦大学电光源研究所所长,同时是国际电光源科技研讨会执行委员,国家863半导体照明工程重大项目总体专家组成员。1988年从浙江大学光学仪器工程学系毕业后进入复旦大学工作,开展了光源测试方法和测试仪器的研究,拥有12项国家专利。目前主要研究领域包括LED应用、光学设计和LED测试等,负责国家863计划半导体照明工程重大项目的课题两项。

潘建根

潘建根教授级高工,杭州远方光电信息有限公司技术总监,浙江大学现代光学国家重点实验室博士研究生校外导师,浙江工业大学兼职教授。同时担任中国照明学会测试计量专业委员会副主任委员,国家863计划半导体照明工程总体专家组成员,全国照明电器标准化技术委员会技术委员,浙江省照明学会副理事长,美国SPIE《光学工程》(Optical Engineering)杂志审稿人,国际照明委员会(CIE)光和辐射测量分部(第2分部)中国代表。
潘建根教授级高工于1993年创办杭州远方测试系统研究所,后组建杭州远方仪器有限公司和杭州光电信息有限公司。自1985年开始至今,一直从事光学、颜色、电子和EMC等光电测试技术研究和仪器设备设计工作,其独创技术和仪器设备已被40多个工业发达国家所采用。他主持国家863高技术计划课题2项,获国家级重点新产品证书2项,拥有专利近20件,发表论文40余篇,主持开发新产品数百个,并多次应邀在国际权威性学术会议上作技术报告演讲。

Michael Heuken

Prof. Dr. Michael Heuken was born in Oberhausen, Germany on November 17, 1961. He received the Diplom?Ingenieur degree and the Dr.?Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from Duisburg University in 1985 and 1989, respectively. He joined the Institut für Halbleitertechnik at RWTH Aachen as senior engineer and has been working in the field of metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy for electronic and optoelectronic devices. In 1994 he finished his Habilitation in semiconductor technology and devices with a thesis on MOCVD technology for optoelectronic devices. Since then and still at present he has been lecturer for semiconductor technology and devices as well as circuits for communication systems at RWTH. In 1997 he joined AIXTRON AG in Aachen-Germany where he is now Vice President Corporate Research & Development. In 1999 he was honored as Professor at RWTH Aachen. His main research interests are in the fields of Semiconductor growth by MOVPE, materials characterization, device technology, electronic and optoelectronic devices and circuits.
Prof. Heuken is author and co-author of more than 300 publications in international journals and several invited papers at international conferences. He was President of DGKK (German Crystal Growth Association) from 2002 to 2005, is currently elected Executive Committee member of the IOCG (International Organization of Crystal Growth), member of VDE/ITG and board member of OptechNet e.V. He acts as referee for international Journals. He has been granted several patents in the field of CVD technology.

Shuji Nakamura

Shuji Nakamura was born on May 22, 1954 in Ehime, Japan. He obtained B.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tokushima, Japan in 1977, 1979, and 1994, respectively. He joined Nichia Chemical Industries Ltd in 1979. In 1988, he spent a year at the University of Florida as a visiting research associate. In 1989 he started the research of blue LEDs using group-III nitride materials. He has received a number of awards, including: the Nishina Memorial Award (1996), MRS Medal Award (1997), IEEE Jack A. Morton Award, the British Rank Prize (1998) and Benjamin Franklin Medal Award (2002). He was elected as the member of the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in 2003. Also, he received the Millennium Technology Prize in 2006. Since 2000, he is a professor of Materials Department of University of California Santa Barbara. He holds more than 100 patents and has published more than 200 papers in this field.

Jeff Y Tsao

Jeff Y Tsao is currently a Principle Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, where his work includes strategic planning in energy technologies, and mathematical modeling in the emerging area of evolutionary epistemology. He has authored or co-authored over 140 publications, including the research monograph “Materials Fundamentals of Molecular Beam Epitaxy.”

Steven Denbaars
Dr. DenBaars is a Professor of Materials and Co-Director of the Solid-State Lighting Center at UC Santa Barbara. Professor DenBaars joined UCSB in 1991 and currently holds the Mitsubishi Chemical Chair in Solid State Lighting and Displays. From 1988-1991 Prof. DenBaars was a member of the technical staff at Hewlett- Packard's Optoelectronics Division involved in the growth and fabrication of visible LEDs. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1988. Specific research interests include growth of wide-band gap semiconductors (GaN based), and their application to Blue LEDs and lasers and energy efficient solid state lighting. This research has lead to over 400 scientific publications, the first US university demonstration of a Blue GaN laser diode and 17 patents on GaN growth and processing. He has been awarded a NSF Young Investigator award, Young Scientist Award of the ISCS, is an IEEE Fellow, and received the Distinguished Alumni Award in Academia from USC in 2007.
